PROFILE
Claude Behrmann is a graduate in architecture from the University of Natal. After graduating he was employed by Zakrewski Associates Incorporated (ZAI) in East London and Cape Town. During this time he also lectured at the University of Cape Town. Thereafter he joined Murray, Biesenbach & Badenhorst Inc. (MBB) in Stellenbosch where he became the director of the architectural division. A few years later he established his own practice in Stellenbosch. After 7 years he and his family moved to the U.S.A. where he became a partner in the Salt Lake City firm, Arc Artel. From 2000 to 2005 Claude worked in a senior position for an international corporation on projects in the United States, Brazil, Chile, Argentina and other parts of the world. At the end of 2005 he and his wife returned to Stellenbosch, South Africa, where he re-established his architectural practice.
